Mercari fee questions

How much does Mercari charge when my item sells?

A flat 10% selling fee on the item price plus any buyer-paid shipping. Listing is free, and there is no separate payment processing fee.

Does Mercari charge fees on shipping?

Yes — if the buyer pays for shipping, the 10% selling fee applies to the item price plus that shipping charge. If you offer free shipping, the fee applies to the item price only (and you pay the label cost).

Does Mercari still have zero selling fees?

No. The zero-seller-fee structure ran from March 2024 through early January 2025. Since January 6, 2025, sellers pay a flat 10% selling fee again.

What do I pay on a $50 sale on Mercari?

A $5 selling fee (10% of $50), leaving $45 before any shipping label you cover. If the buyer also paid $8 shipping, the fee is 10% of $58, or $5.80.

Is there a payment processing fee on Mercari?

No. Mercari eliminated payment processing fees on January 6, 2025. The old 2.9% + $0.50 fee only applied to legacy listings during the transition.

Does it cost anything to withdraw my Mercari balance?

Standard ACH direct deposit is free (a $2 fee applies only if the transfer is rejected). Instant Pay to a debit card costs a flat $3 per cash-out, up to $600 per month.
