How much does Poshmark take from a sale?
For sales under $15, Poshmark takes a flat $2.95. For sales of $15 or more, Poshmark takes 20% and you keep 80%. That is the only mandatory selling fee.
Does Poshmark charge fees on shipping or sales tax?
No. The commission applies to the order price only. Buyers pay the flat $6.49 shipping fee separately, and Poshmark collects and remits sales tax from the buyer without touching your earnings.
Are there listing fees or monthly fees on Poshmark?
No. Listing is always free and there are no subscription, insertion, or recurring fees. You only pay when an item sells.
What does it cost to sell a $50 item on Poshmark?
$10.00 (20% of $50), so you keep $40.00. The buyer pays the $6.49 shipping. Texas sellers also see a small Texas Seller Fee Tax deduction (about $0.66 on this sale).
Does Poshmark charge a separate payment processing fee?
No. Credit card processing is included in the $2.95 / 20% seller fee, along with the buyer-paid USPS label and seller protection.
Does it cost anything to withdraw my Poshmark earnings?

Worth knowing before you list
- Poshmark's fee applies to the order price only — never to the flat $6.49 shipping the buyer pays, and never to sales tax, which Poshmark collects and remits for you.
- The $15 threshold is a cliff: a $14.99 sale costs $2.95 in fees, but a $15.00 sale costs $3.00 (20%) — price accordingly near the boundary.
- Buyers pay the $6.49 flat shipping (USPS Ground Advantage, up to 5 lbs), so leave 'shipping you charge' at $0. If you offer a shipping discount when negotiating, the subsidy comes out of your earnings.
- Packages over 5 lbs need a seller-paid label upgrade: $5.00 for 5.01–10 lbs, $10.00 for 10.01–15 lbs — add it to your shipping label cost.
- Texas-based sellers pay an extra Texas Seller Fee Tax since October 2025: roughly 8.25% applied to 80% of Poshmark's fee (about $1.32 on a $100 sale).
- Getting paid by direct deposit or check is free; Instant Transfer costs $2 and PayPal/Venmo redemptions cost $0.35.
